Recent grad Rachel Pena '14 won the hammer throw at Puerto Rico's National Championships on Sunday, June 8. Pena's throw of 200' 3" (61.04m) captured the hammer title.

Lafayette senior hammer thrower Rachel Pena competed in the NCAA East Regional Championships in Jacksonville, Fla. on Thursday. She was one of 48 throwers from the region to qualify for the championships.

Members of the Lafayette track and field team competed at the ECAC and IC4A Championships in Princeton this weekend. Senior Rachel Pena continued her impressive season with a second place finish in the hammer throw.

Lafayette women's track and field senior Rachel Pena and men's junior Juannell Riley were named to their respective Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-Patriot League Teams, the League announced Monday afternoon.

On the second and final day of the Patriot League Championships, the Lafayette Track and Field teams finished seventh on the women's side and sixth on the men's.

The Lafayette Track and Field team wrapped up Day One of the Patriot League Championships on Friday afternoon, held at Navy. The women currently sit in fifth place while the men are in eighth after one day of competition.
