Currently just over a week into their preseason, Lafayette’s men’s and women’s cross country teams will take the next step forward in their training on Saturday at the Monmouth XC Kick-Off in Lincroft, N.J.

Former Lafayette standouts David Robinson '98 and Megan Smith '97 were each chosen to the Patriot League Cross Country 25th Anniversary Teams, the league office announced Friday afternoon.

The Lafayette men's and women's cross country and track and field teams held their annual banquet on Wednesday night, honoring the year's accomplishments and handing out team awards.

The Lafayette women's cross country teams earned 2014 All-Academic Status, announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Wednesday.

The Patriot League tabbed 15 members of the Lafayette cross country team to the Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Tuesday. 11 members of the women's squad were chosen, while four members of the men's team made the list.
